The project
Casa da Música Benguela is a socially minded music school in Angola that the UMAS Foundation works with.
Together, the UMAS Foundation and Casa da Música Benguela have carried out a development project that won European funding, in collaboration with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation: music as a means of education, growth and inclusion for the young people of Benguela.
It is one of the projects into which the Foundation reinvests its resources to support music development in regions where access to arts education is hardest, so that music, art and science are truly within everyone's reach.
